Opening-day design for a home bakery
Tinapay ni Aling Rosa is a Quezon City home bakery moving into its first storefront. It had a Facebook page of phone photos, a ₱3,000 budget, and one wish: "para mukhang legit" by opening day.
Practice project: Aling Rosa is a fictional client. I completed the proposal, budget decisions, and print-ready files so you can inspect the work itself.
The brief and the budget
The full request (a logo, a flyer in print and social sizes, and a cover photo) would normally cost ₱4,800–5,500. The practice brief set a ₱3,000 budget, so I reduced the scope instead of quietly discounting the work.
The resulting Opening Day Pack uses a focused wordmark rather than a full identity and brand guide. The flyer and Facebook pieces share one design adapted three ways. Excluded items are named so the boundary is clear.
What I made
- A warm bakery wordmark with a line-drawn pandesal, free Google Fonts, and a five-colour palette the client can reuse.
- An A5 opening-day flyer, print-ready with a PDF the print shop can use as-is.
- The same design as a Facebook feed post (1080×1350) and a cover photo built to survive mobile cropping.
One hero design across print, feed, and cover, plus a reusable wordmark. Add-ons like the opening-day tarpaulin are quoted up front (₱800–1,200), never sprung later.
