Abiso announcement drafter
Abiso means “notice” in Filipino. I built it to turn one set of rough announcement notes into drafts for a bulletin, email, Facebook post, and flyer without quietly filling in missing facts.
About this demo: the interface below is the real frontend in portfolio mode. It may remember an organization profile in this browser, but it does not transmit announcement notes. “Draft it” displays bundled sample output.
Why this exists
A church or small organization may rewrite the same announcement for a printed bulletin, email, Facebook post, and flyer. Abiso prepares those drafts from one set of notes. It does not decide what the announcement should say.
The main safeguard
If a note does not include a time, place, name, or other needed detail, the draft shows [confirm: what is missing] instead of guessing. The service also returns a fixed structure so the interface can check whether all expected sections are present.
This reduces one common failure, but it does not make the output automatically correct. A person still needs to compare every draft with the original notes before publishing it.
How the demo handles data
The portfolio version does not call the drafting service. It always returns bundled sample output. A separately configured live version would need to send the supplied notes to its service and AI provider; that must be explained and agreed before client information is processed.
What this project demonstrates
Abiso is a small web tool with a form, a server-side function, structured output, and testable rules. AI handles the drafting step, while the interface, safeguards, review process, and responsibility for the finished result remain human work.
I can quote a small tool for a specific team after understanding the task, the information it handles, and who will maintain it. The Selyo Laundry tracker shows another example without an AI component.
Would a small tool make a repeated task easier for your team?
